Using Custom Recovery: Root & Install SuperSU  (Full Root)

Copy the downloaded UPDATE-SuperSU-*.zip to root dir of your SDCard as demonstrated as follows.

Next, download 'Redesign FullRootHelper*.zip' from this string and duplicate to SDCard like you simply did. 

Power off your phone, boot into custom recovery utilizing key mixes of [Volume Up] + [Power] 

Touch [Install] catch.

Look in to '/external_sd' and touch on 'UPDATE-SuperSU-*.zip'.

Verify 'Compress document signature check.' is unchecked, then confirm flashing

If flashing succeeded the word 'Successful' will be displayed.

Now repeat step 5-6 and flash 'UPDATE-FullRootHelper*.zip'.

Now your phone is fully rooted, touch 'Reboot system' to restart the phone and boot normally.
